in order to get there we can lose one game …assuming iowa state wins out, as long as its not to baylor or kansas. Iowa state beat both so they own the tie breaker if we tie them and lose to either team

Baylor beat Iowa State
Tiebreakers are not used to determine regular season championships. If 2 teams are tied atop the standings then they would be co-champions. Tiebreakers are used to determine seeding for the conference tournament.

Looking at the remaining schedules for the contenders:
Houston- at Baylor, Cincinnati, at Oklahoma, at UCF, Kansas
Iowa State- West Virginia, Oklahoma, at UCF, BYU, at Kansas State
Baylor- Houston, at TCU, Kansas, Texas, at Texas Tech
Kansas- Texas, BYU, at Baylor, Kansas State, at Houston
Clearly Iowa State has by far the easiest schedule, Baylor may have the toughest road and I suppose Kansas may have a slightly easier path than the Cougars, but it’s close. Coogs have the one-game lead on ISU, but I think we’ll need to go at least 4-1 to get a share of the title, or the outright title.
The Kansas at Baylor game will be crucial, one way or another, as of course will our game in Waco this week. It should be a fascinating finish to the regular season chase. I hope we just win out and take the suspense out of it!
