What are the chances UH @ tech is the season finale next season? A lot can change in the offseason but that could have a lot at stake

BYU’s first year wasn’t our best

I have little to complain about w/ BYU’s performance that year

In particular, night games at home

BYU was +13.5 last I looked.

I mean I guess I get it?

But gosh just disrespectful tho. It’s not like they’re gonna just roll the ball out there and not go for broke. They will have some tricks up their sleeve.

Guarantee the discrepancy in wins per dollar spent is jarring.

I look at that as a positive, but it works in both directions and many others would disagree.

And that’s fine too. Matter of perspective, I suppose.

With Gundy and Campbell, plus the school similarities

  1. If you’d have told me NIL was gonna kill both Oklahoma St and Iowa St, I’d have believed you.

  2. If you’d have told me both Iowa St and Oklahoma St would be fine despite NIL, I’d have also believed you.

What I did NOT think would happen was one would die and one come out unscathed. And in that case, I’d have honestly bet OSU would come out better.

Just insane.

Plus, they’ve already seen them so can gameplan accordingly

I think he might be gone.

If they give him control like I suspect he wants he probably is. Too good of a gig to pass on more resources hard to turn down. Probably put you on the path to a NFL HC possibly. East Coast press coverage and all especially if he wins a natty their. Not saying he’s gone, but the possibility is high.

I think it’s more that BYU isn’t giving what he wants to his assistants. They’ve gone into these negotiations every off season.

Allegedly the AD screwed up and now the president is trying to keep Kalani.

Hmm.

I wonder if this will affect the team.

Not good. I don’t think many ppl understand how important that is to a guy like Sitake. It’s a basic question of fairness, loyalty, and honor.

To say no to that is to basically ask (or force) him to come up short to his main guys in those critically personal ways.

I get it. Not good.

Crazy seeing Oklahoma St at the bottom given that they were the odds in favor to run the nB12.

Yeah the rumors are heating up but BYU will be fine without Sitake.
