WOW!
The ND top 12 guarantee… the committee isn’t trying to hide the corruption at this point lol.
The ND exception is only for a 12 or 14 team playoff. If they expand it to 16 or more, ND should make the playoffs without an exception anyway.
Weird.
Wild rumors flying around out here.
It’s a big gamble to push out your best coach of all time
Grateful tech is getting Sorsby and not Hoover
He is skipping the Alamo Bowl at least as far as playing in it goes. Not sure if he’s gonna still try to hang out in San Antonio though
Guess TCU won’t be selling their allotment, whoops
They are allowed to make bowl trips during finals now I guess.
Early qb transfer rumors:
Sorsby —> Texas tech
Dampier —> ASU
Hoover —> Indiana?
Sam Leavitt —> ??
espn commentator remarked the top qb’s next year could make 5 million, many pro ahtletes dont make that; college football is a pro sport now.
5 million is crazy… but if that’s what the market demands…
I feel like TCU did this with Gary Patterson, so there’s some sort of precedent within the Big 12.
Sure, it was during that weird period slightly during/after the Pandemic, but it was still odd to see them get rid of the best Coach (statistically) in their football history.
That’s gotta be a horrible feeling as a pro; seeing some kid in college making more than you ![]()
It’s like finding out that ppl in your company with less experience & institutional knowledge than you are making more $$$
iowa state qb hitting the portal, big12 seems to be the minor league for qb’s with the call up being the portal to the big10/sec.
I wouldn’t exactly call it unexpected tho given the circumstances. I think we all pretty much assumed this was going to happen. The ISU part.
Eh, we will see where they end up.
