Interesting that the Big 12 has 2 coaches retire/step down from their programs when all the up & coming coaches have already been taken.
I suspect some G6 coaches will get raided again.

DC Morgan Scalley has long been tabbed as successor.
I think starting the new cycle to next signing period it just became way too apparent that it’s too increasingly hard to cement future classes. iowa is running into that problem too.
Yes, you can say you have a coach in waiting, but at a certain point it doesn’t play quite the same in living rooms. Especially when your competition is 100% going to make a reasonable case there won’t be continuity. Even if it’s intentionally BS, they are gonna craft a compelling argument to make it sound plausible that there will be an overhaul when the old man leaves. Rogers is 100% gonna do it to Kirky boy, for example. Bet BYU was too.
It’s time to actually hand it off, and it’s probably been time for a minute. That’s how these situations tend to go IMO.
