Not sure if this was posted somewhere, but apparently, rumor is that SiriusXM will be cancelling both the Big 12 and ACC Radio stations.
Honestly that sucks and is a slap in the face. There are very valuable brands in both of these conferences and the idea that these stations cannot survive while there are 12 different RW talk stations repeating the same BS is beyond me.

Comes down to advertisers and subscribers. I am pretty sure that Sirius knows exactly how many people listen to each station at any given moment.

Well considering that not a single game has been played in the new, expanded Big 12, how would they know? That is my only point. If they had done this after a season or two that would be one thing, but to do it before a game is played is BS.
Anyway, it appears that the Big 12 has moved its national radio broadcasts to TuneIn Radio.
Maybe the contract with Siriusxm was up.
The conference got a new deal with tunein
On this note, I’m looking at the flagship stations for all the big12 teams. Everyone else has actual radio frequencies listed. UH has the Varsity Network listed, whatever that is. Do we not have one? Who’s in charge of securing these things?

I was under the impression the Big 12 channel was streaming online only. When I clicked on it in my car, it was SiriusXM advertisements. It’s been this way for a while.
Our flagship station is KPRC 950 am.
What the heck is tunein?
I need a way to sync the radio broadcast to the tv broadcast. That way i don’t have to listen to Brock Osweiller or Beth Mowins or whatever wahoo they punish us with.
