We don’t need all the PAC schools to be associating with B12. We just need 2-4 schools. My top 4 would be Arizona, Colorado, Oregon and UW. But I’ll be happy to take Arizona and Colorado for now.
While the PAC doesn’t have to give advance notice, schools from other conferences, if there are any, do.
All the university presidents that have spoken have said we stand with the PAC. But, those statements are equivocal, based on the package they receive. They may not be able to get X number of schools by 7/1/2024 if the number of schools leaving them drops them below 8…
The schools have to know how much money they can expect so they can budget.
Wilner’s job is to keep the wolves at bay.

Funny.
Whether or not the PAC is just as valuable as the Big XII is irrelevant. The money is gone, or at least the linear broadcast money. Of course a good face will be put on the deal, but nobody will be happy. Who knows what happens then?
Wilner trying to stay employed
Clownzano is nothing but a big liar. I’ll trust Dodd way before I will Clownzano.

They aren’t in right now. If prices come down a lot, maybe they could get back in.
So Fox would get in if the prices went down a bunch. Doubt the pac12 would want that
Pac TV negotiations == garage sale
Funny how fast Wilner went from respected journalist to apparatchik overnight.
There is East Coast Bias then there is Wilner style West Coast PompA$$ness

So what’s new?
So Fox is not in talks. That makes more sense then randomly hopping back in.
ION? Maybe they should explore PBS…
