One impossibility made possible. Next one is the AAU

Haha…… yeah I remember reading more than one of those confident statements, only to prove that……………you never know.

The B1G did something unprecedented.

But DON’T expect them to admit a non-AAU school other than ND.

Yes I opened this without realizing it wasn’t another new realignment thread. There is some good, very authoritative reading in there…. as I said’s, trust me’s, even a print it :grinning:

I don’t buy ANY of that AAU horsecrap the BIG 10 has been throwing around for years. When the BIG took Rutgers and Pedo State all that BS went right out the freakin window. IMO the BIG would take Transylvania if it had a big enough TV market.

That’s gonna last about 3 minutes! LMAO!!

How so? Those are both AAU schools.

Lol

SMU to B10…

That’s stupid. That guy is saying that the B1G would not only admit a non-AAU, but a non-R1 from a G5 conference.

Please.

Implausible.

AAU requirements are a thing of the past, if ND wants in the B10, they will bend over backwards. Nebraska dropping AAU, no big deal the B10.

Of course they won’t kick Nebraska out once they are in.

And they will make ONE (and only ONE) exception for ND when it comes to inviting a non-AAU school.

But that’s the only one. PRINT IT!!!

Smoo!

IMO the Big 12 should be as aggressive as possible and bold. Yormark seems pretty sharp and innovative. Maybe he should try to get Clemson, Florida State, Washington and Oregon? I look at it as playing defense with offense and grabbing schools so the BIG10 and the SEC CAN’T get them. Meanwhile, UH should be doing everything possible to get to AAU status ASAP. I am NOT a fan of UH sitting still. Sitting still got UH C-USA and the AAC.

Different leadership.now, than before, they get it.

Though smart enough to focus the aggressivenrss wisely

We probably wont go after Oregon or Wash…We are waiting for ACC to fracture, and pick up plum schools there…If 8 ACC schools vote to do away with GOR, all hell is going to break loose…and it looks like that could happen…SEC will get 4, BIG will get 4, and then we will scan the 6 left, and take the 4 best fits…and ACC is gone in a puff of smoke…PAC gravely weakened and ACC gone…i never would have believed it possible a year ago.

The ā€œ8 votesā€ thing is a myth. Conferences can’t usually vote to tie their shoes with less than a supermajority. The.GOR states that any modification to it requires unanimity.
