Calhoun was a grad assistant at UC under Huggins, is from Ohio and knows the city & area well.
I doubt we are able to retain any of the current roster. So it’s a full rebuild with a good bag to work with.
He hired a defensive coordinator and it paid off at Utah State, but that guy took a head coaching job. So he just needs to make a good hire on that end and then recruit hard.
His blob plays are beautiful.
UC fans have had essentially an entire to watch Calhoun as he was pretty much the only real candidate. He turned down even talking about Pitt openings or k state and really wanted this job.
Bring back UC basketball

Put them in a Huggy Bear meat grinder and take their souls. See if they are man enough to earn them back. That’s STILL how you make warriors and

Yes, all players they should be given enough to have a solid headstart in life and help out their families reasonably here and there for their efforts. A solid little nest egg to stash away and fall back on. Beyond that, the juice is rarely worth the squeeze bigger picture. And even worse, it’s usually counterproductive. In 
at least, football is likely different, unfortunately.

I keep hearing that Kansas SG Darryn Peterson will go #1 or #2 in the NBA draft. I would draft Kingston Flemings and Darius Acuff Jr. ahead of Darryn Peterson. All three are supremely talented players, but Flemings and Acuff seem to have that mamba mentality, whereas I question if Peterson does. Peterson took himself out of a game and had a row with Coach Self.
Call me crazy but I can’t draft someone #1 or #2 who takes himself out of a game.

Peterson is probably the most talented scorer coming into the draft from college… I think those other issues may push him down in the draft, though…
It definitely seemed like most of the season was about him and not his team…
