I’m half joking when I say Pleta is gonna snipe this year, but people forget Joshua Jefferson couldn’t really shoot before this season. He had only made 43 for his career in his previous 3 years combined… He made 38 last year and most of them were from NBA range on a higher percentage, also a brand new development.
Don’t get me wrong, we also played the same way thru Bob Jones. That man couldn’t throw the ball into Saylorville Lake. (Top notch reference for a fellow Iowan there)

The fanbase is broadly trying not to mourn and doing ok w/ it.
Most people I’d describe as disgust with the situation and landscape more generally, and just washing their hands of this one. Your casuals that don’t understand the nuances but also don’t pay the bills probably take it harder.
The hardcore junkies look at it as a business decision and have reluctantly, but decisively, turned the page.
