punch was their best player but he wasnt so irreplaceable player, punhc only did 14pt per. Punchs backup techincally put up better stats per minute … they added the #1 juco and a a 20pt scorer from long beach state.

main point was about how im not sure Collins makes Cincinnati top 8, and how it would take quite the bursting onto the scene by Calhoun in order to get there.
They’ve got plenty of quality competition to worry about surpassing on the C tier as it is.

Someone fill me in on the WVU love? Been seeing them as a 5-6 spot in some of these preseason rankings. I don’t see it.
As for TCU, I actually think Xavier Edmonds was their best player. And he will prove it this year.
Your top 8 will be tourney teams. 9-12 on the bubble. I think we ultimately get 10 in.
Bottom 4 will be bad. I want to put K State last, but just think Utah and Colorado are other levels bad.
Agree on Edmonds being TCU’s top player by the end of last season.
Not sure what to think of 4-8 in the conference. Toss up who finishes in the top tier and who disappoints. I am not sure they all make the tournament.

Man. I called it out early that Houston was on a crash course with greatness after watching those first few seasons. The Bearcats board calls me a Kelvin Sampson Stan (and maybe I am little) because of how much I praised Houston. Every preseason they predicted their downfall bc of who they lost and every year I reminded them it doesn’t matter

At that time I was only a few years out of college and I was working at HP in Houston and we had some good runs going at our court at lunch… I used to get laughed at when I told them that UH was on its way back to being one of the best programs in the country…
Unfortunately, I left HP & Houston at the beginning of 2018 so I never got to rub it in their face… but they know… 
Tylen Riley is out 4-6 weeks with a hand injury for UC. Nothing major but will cause him to miss Bahamas trip in August, but should be back for official start of practice and exhibition.

BYU roster is about done with this ruling finally.
Come on down Jaxson Koehler! 6’10 crafty center. Serviceable and experienced against good teams. Starting center and an impact player on Michigan State’s sweet 16 team.
That will be 14/15. A developmental big will round it out.
BYU will be elite at 1-3 including the depth behind them. You have.a good defensive sub in Kadim Mboup. They are now serviceable including depth at 4 and 5.
Now it’s an interesting team to watch lol. They went all in on shooting and I think are trying to improve a little defensively.
Rebounding improvement was needed and not getting a dominant big says they are going to try to team rebound. Will be fun to watch the adjustments.
Bruce Branch isn’t AJ Dybantsa. He has arms that are so long they look like AI and he’s hungry to do the glue guy stuff, like defend and play wicked off ball defense.
Rob Write III can score. Will he embrace facilitating, sitting out 4 more minutes again so he can defend his best? This year he has a good backup in Nate Pickins.
Collin Chandler coming home from Kentucky. It’s expected he’ll he asked to do more at BYU. Athletic 2 guard who likes to defend.
4: serviceable guys who can shoot. A bunch of them. One taking a step forward and emerging would be huge. I’m going to wait to see who does because they all seem to have potential to me.
