Wasn’t Culver a 2-year guy? He wasn’t physically ready after 1-year either
Jarrett Culver played 2 years at Texas Tech.
Yes it worked! That’s insane that he can move and jump like that at his size
He’s stretching his game out?
And Dream was not very fond of working in the weight room when he first got here.
IMO…Sasser is the only one that’s NBA ready. Jarace & Arceneaux need another year…maybe 2. They haven’t shown dominance yet. Walker has shown sporadic highlights, but not consistent. Arceneaux needs more college games as a starter or 6th man to get NBA ready.
GO COOGS!!
Stop it lol.
Oh man. The takes just keep getting worse.
Jarace needs 3 more years. Terrance needs 3 plus a COVID year
Some of you get defensive anytime a poster bring up Jarace’s name. We get that you believe he is 100% gone due to his draft projection but that doesn’t mean he is NBA ready.
You’ll have to show me any freshman that is NBA ready.
Only dude that was NBA ready as an 18 year old was LeBron James.
no one is truly nba ready… the thompson twins having been playing pick up level ball for the last 2 years at overtime…scoot henderson looked lost in the rising stars challenge… its not about nba readiness, its just that it makes zero sense for him to come back…
Not talking about any freshman but Jarace. It is not a put down, just reality.
No. I get that. Is Jarace truly NBA ready? Probably not. Will he get on the job training at the next level that will make him NBA ready? Absolutely.
I have said this before, take money out of the equation and there are plenty reasons to return.
I just realized this thread is supposed to to be about JMc. Looking forward to getting him on campus.
Haha. Of course, RW. But you can’t just take $20m+ out of the equation. It’s the elephant in the room.
And, yes. I think McFarland has all of the potential in the world.
That’s where you get lost in the conversation…he’s looking at 4 years 20 million…he’s not coming back
Yep that’s A lot of NIL money lol.
Of course I would love to see him stay and be further developed by this staff, but just ain’t like that anymore.
I just want him to continue to develop right now and to help lead us to the Promised Land.
Love Sasser, but next year Jarace will the hardest Coog to replace.
No actually you are the one LOST in the conversation because I haven’t had a single debate on him returning. A poster strictly pointing out that he has a lot to work on before he can play in the NBA is an accurate statement. I just don’t feel the need to point out every time it is mentioned, that he is gone.
If you get drafted by the NBA, you are NBA ready, by definition
