BOOM! Jacob McFarland Commits!

Back to Back babyyy

On a serious note: Mark & Shead can come back for 9 months and get their bachelor degrees and don’t have to come back to campus to get it. Plus… They’ll make much more money at UH next season than going undrafted and most likely going overseas because this year’s draft is loaded. Even two-way contracts would be hard to get.

Just looking at it for long term career-wise and money-wise!!!

Maybe playing in the Big 12 allures them and puts more eyeballs (scouts) on them.

Arceneaux’s potential and measurables could get him drafted this year. 2nd round. Would be wise for him to come back to jump into the lottery next season.

Yeah I think McFarland winning that 3rd C job. I keep going back and forward on him and Ced but Ced is too raw right now. McFarlands ability to move and run at his height is crazy. Still think we are getting a big in portal

@Kmoney did that link i posted work? Just curious

It was a dunk during practice i know. But, what 6ft 10" guys can make that look easy?

His quickness/twitch for his size is impressive

McFarland doesn’t want to be a C. Not in the traditional sense, at least.

When Olajuwon was playing for us, what was his weight? I don’t remember him being husky at all; I remember him as tall and relatively slim.

Still think TA enters the draft…?

I think he comes back for 1 year.

It’s about that DUNK!

Maybe 2 or 3 more.

Terrance Arceneaux has a few good offensive games, main one against Oregon. He only top 10 points 3 times so far. He needs another year, at least.

As of right now, I would say he needs 2 years.

He was at least 230 his soph and junior years. He weighed 190 when he arrived

That’s about what I was thinking. I was thinking 200 plus or minus 10 pounds.

I think Terrance comes back next yr

Also, just my thinking. Guys that go to these out of state prep schools like IMG, like Monteverde Academy. They’re away from their parents for a while.

And that im sure prepares you for becoming a pro. Life away from your family. Obviously developing their skills also

Terrance, went to Beaumont United HS. Nows he’s in Houston, close to home.

The jump for him right now to G League or NBA. I just dont think hes ready.

He had 2 nice steals yesterday. But his offense game is still a work in progress

Would be crazy for him unless he is a first rounder, especially with NIL, not to mention education-wise. I seriously doubt either Nate or Armoni would have jumped when they did in this landscape

I compare Terrance Arceneaux to Jarrett Culver of Texas Tech. Culver was the 6th pick in the 2019 draft. His best year in the NBA was his 1st year, 9.2 ppg. around 4.5 ppg since.

@MRCoog I said this basically before the season started.

I know its been a while, but way back when, there was some hype. Arceneaux could be a 1 and done

I haven’t had that opinion since Oregon game
