_Bouter will take to the international stage on Monday when she competes in the preliminaries of the 3-meter synchro alongside Nicole Gillis from the University of Arkansas after finishing first overall at a prior international event. _
The two-time American Athletic Conference defending champion in the 3-meter springboard will also compete in the preliminaries of the event Thursday at the World Championships after finishing second overall at the Durban South Africa National Championships.
The South Africa native and defending American Athletic Conference Champion in the 3-meter springboard finished 30th in the same event with an overall score of 231.4. The senior’s best dive came in the second round, when Bouter completed an inward 2 ½ somersault for 54 points.
Three days prior, Bouter competed in the 3-meter synchro alongside fellow South African and Arkansas Razorback Nicole Gillis. The duo finished 14th in the preliminaries after performing an inward 2 ½ somersault for a score of 56.70.
