Bracketology 2025

I also wouldn’t really consider Florida to be the weakest #1 seed. They are legit. I think I would rather player Duke or Alabama(even though they have our number) to be honest.

Remember when everyone was on us because we “hadn’t beaten anyone”?

I’m not seeing any big wins for A&M, and they lost to UT, who sucks.

Their best win is at Tx Tech. They’re over-seeded because they’re in the SEC. But whatever - doesn’t matter in February.

Texas Tech, Purdue, Ole Miss, Mizzou. They’ve got a lot of good wins.

Meh.

All four of those wins are T-20 wins. We’ve got one. If you can’t acknowledge those as good wins you’re not being objective.

I gave them credit for the Tech win. The others - meh.

Anyway, it’s the Aggies. If you want to go to bat for them, have at it. I don’t care. They’re irrelevant.

If you’re gonna say meh to those wins that means we only have one good win on the season.

I think we take Florida’s number 1

I was thinking that too…IF we continue to roll, I think we stand a chance to be on the 1 seed level.

Because difference making losses are likely to still happen. Could be us taking them too.

At this point I don’t think it matters much between a 1 and 2. Ideally you just don’t want to be the 2 in auburns’s bracket.

If we took Florida’s 1 they would likely just be the 2 in our bracket anyways.

with a closing stretch like this we can definitely improve the resume in a hurry though we are going to need alot of upsets elsewhere since we started at 8th overall instead of 6th (at least before our win + purdue’s loss)

Agree, but i take it a step further… i think that there is no reason to hope avoiding ANYBODY (including Auburn). Geography might be more important than that. I think we can beat them just as we can beat other at the top.

I hear you. It’s not that I don’t think we can beat Auburn. But I think they are the top dog and if we are going to beat the top dog I want it to be in the title game.

That makes sense.

Of course, it’s called March Madness for a reason. The 1 seeds sometimes get eliminated along the way. So my thinking is…especially for our team this year…is to literally hope all-comers simply show up (whoever they may be) and we mow them all down, winning 6 straight. And even sweeter if it’s a gauntlet.

Just feeling bold I guess!

Alabama likely will not remain a 1 seed much longer. Trailing Auburn by 9 @ half. Missouri, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Florida, Auburn, remaining schedule. BRUTAL.

Yes, they are down and might lose today.

But I’m thinking losing to Auburn is not likely to bump them off of the one line.

Same for Auburn if Bama wins today.

Who knows though.

Aggy v Tech was in Fort Worth

had we finished the deal against them i would agree but the flip side is they can’t really hurt their resume with all those “Q1-A” games and slumping their way to a 4-3 still leaves them with an insane resume
