Best time to bet it was probably last week or 2 weeks ago we were like 8th or 9th best odds.

Yep. I think McCasland needs to be kicked in the nuts twice before he’s allowed to complain about Flagrant 2s again. No logical argument can be made that kicking your leg out like that is a natural basketball move.

Edit: not to mention, ironically, the claim that ‘blueblood’ just applies to rich people that don’t have to work for anything (i.e. the good life just comes to them unearned/without merit, via their pre-existing wealth and status)…is also a pretty appropriate description of how the blueblood schools to which you are referring to also operate, IMO.

But don’t drop a spot in the NET somehow. Also ISU’s home win vs UCF erases their loss to Cincy as ISU goes from 10 to 6 overnight in the NET. UH drops from 9 to 10.
All UH’s metrics keep moving in the right direction, except the NET, it doesnt seem to like us this season.

Gary Parrish of CBS puts out daily rankings and he’s had us in the low teens, though we’re finally up to No. 9 I think. Then he writes a couple of days ago that we’re the favorite to win the title. What?
FWIW, NET ranking has nothing to do with the media. NET ranking is simply an algorithm that uses wins/losses, opponent quality, location, and offensive and defensive efficiencies. UH has fared extremely well in the NET. For the last 5 years UH’s final NET ranking has been 1, 1, 1, 2, 5.

I suspect we scheduled too many Q4 games and its hurting us. We usually have a lot of q3 typ home games but really schedueld a lot of dregs of NCAA BB this year.
