We are very, very young at times. When Cenac tried to defend the big guy at 3.5 minutes he was completely under the basket. The guy bounced it off his chest. You’ll probably never see that from him again after Sampson tears him into thirty-five pieces in practice. We’re gonna have a lot of those moments early on. And Sampson MIGHT jump Flemming’s ass about trying to pass between multiple people’s legs. Might…lol.

first practice after leaving vegas will be interesting though…
I’ve never know Sampson to hold back based on circumstances. He seems to just let er’ rip.
Write Kelvin Sampson and volunteer to be his assistant since you supposedly know so much.

still lots of preseason data on metric sites this time of year but weirdly torvik gave the offense a 138 rating even with the 8 minute drought

I’m in Vegas. To say we are not good is ridiculous. Tennessee beat us by 3. They are talented and have a great coach.
To say we aren’t as good as last year’s team when we played in the Final Four would be accurate. We may not even be as good as last year’s team when it lost two games in the Players Era Festival.
We have lots of things to improve on, and generating offense from our bigs is a big one. But don’t say we aren’t good.

Guys go easy on him. The only thing worse than watching the Coogs lose is watching the Coogs lose and then immediately losing your paycheck at the craps table.
Its not so much the offense as it is the defense. I wanted them to lose. They need to see what they did wrong and feel it.
Two nights in a row of opponent tip ins off a missed free throw is a major concern. Never thought I would see that. Three point plays both times.

The team is good, but at this point of the season, we aren’t yet a great team.
Fortunately, the Coogs have until the start of March Madness to become a great team.
Sampson isn’t going to be satisfied until he molds them into championship form.

TNT needs to get onto Pearl for telling our recruit where he should/shouldn’t go before the ND game. He’s supposed to be commenting on the upcoming game, not recruiting for other schools.
