They were discussing the front court in pregame. He was very critical saying they don’t have any offense coming from the bigs etc and “Houston we have a problem.” One person mentioned having the number 1 center coming in new season.
Pearl: “That number one center may want to reconsider. He may watch this and say ‘if I’m not getting more touches, I may need to go somewhere else.’”

Pearl may get better, but he’s an awful commentator right now. Between the Arafan comment and his questions to Sharp and the Tennessee kid this afternoon, feels like he’s just trying to stir up sh!t.
In other words, he’s just being himself.

That’s because they knew they could get away with elbows, hands, etc. OTOH if Jojo got his into even questionable fouling position fouls were calls almost every time. It is what it is.
Not an easy problem to solve. Refs seem determined to take away Tugler’s aggressiveness he brings. CKS has his hands full trying to help him adjust somehow. Refs going to ref. They are not going to change.
Whether or not he was right about our big men, it doesn’t excuse him from advising Diane to decommit from UH, he was still tampering.
