I think he plays based on the Kansas news.
Decent analysis but he doesn’t mention Galen at all. Galen’s shoes will be very had to fill by our relatively inexperienced back court. The gap should narrow as the season wears on but in November and December, I think we will really be missing Galen, specifically the Assist to TO ratio.

Pretty crappy analysis to be honest. Like the writer has no idea what kind of player Gorham is.
I trust my eyes and not writers, who rarely if ever see UH play !!

He hasn’t played in 2 years except 4 games in Italy. A lot can change so the author is probably just going off of what he was doing at Towson.
The author also doesn’t appear to think that the Cougars’ incredible year could be this year since the allegations toward Kansas, which have made several news outlets, will allow Grimes to play this year. Perhaps he is just a a very careful conservative writer.
Most likely, like all sports pontificaters, is just another opinion guy.
He is entitled to his opinion.
He may have submitted the article before the news broke. But, whatever. I like it when people overlook us.
