C.F. Kendall - A Great Cougar Legend Has Passed

I have known C.F. since our days in Law School. In those days we were in the basement of the MD Anderson. Our graduating classes were small but entering classes were large. There were 120 in my entering class in 1960. Less than 30 graduated 3 years later. High attrition, small faculty but some of what would later become some of the top lawyers in Houston, Texas and yes even other states came through the basement in MDA and marked the history of our law school in those days. CF was one of those. I had season tickets and later a box in the Dome. When we moved to Robertson our boxes were adjacent to each other. When we had our Taxi Squad meetings downtown in the Houston Club and later at one of the hotels CF was always there. CF would visit me and Stan Binion (another legendary Cougar supporter) in our offices and most of time was spent talking Cougar football and basketball. Those were great days when we were winning the SWC and enjoying the magic of Phi Slama Jama.
There is so much more I could say but will just close by saying we have lost a giant among Cougars and wish his family peace and serenity at this difficult time.
