It’s actually funny this is a topic because on the Baylor football boards 80% of them say Uh will win. Two “atrocious teams”, a basement war. Is how the view it. They may have more “fire the HC” threads than we do.

You are right about Baylor not winning SWC titles while we were in the conference, but if you didn’t beat Baylor then you didn’t have enough wins to go.

During our 20 years in The SWC Baylor had one Title. In 1980.
They won The Big 12 with Art Briles. It was 34 years since that 1980 Title.
This is not a solid program. We should be able to outrecruit them.

CDH inability to recruit so far. That is not me writing it but it is black and white for all to see. Recruiting is a huge part of his job.
UH is 13-14-1 vs Baylor all time and 6-8-1 in Waco.
We’re not recruiting really well until you’re playing in the Big 12, not just the prospect of playing. Bring recruits to Big 12 games. Compare Baylor facilities and attendance with UH’s. If we were out recruiting Baylor and TCU over the last couple years, that would be phenomenal.
Baylor is the one that’s fallen off the cliff since the Sugar Bowl win. Our Peach Bowl win was eight years ago.
I remember when Baylor and Rice jockeyed for who was the worst SWC team in the 1960s.

I’ve seen Baylor a couple of times. Their QB/WR play is very suspect
Right on but today is not yesterday.
This should be a good matchup because our secondary play is suspect as well.
