I hope the Coogs have as many blowouts as I do.
I don’t think this will be as easy of a win as some you think. I wouldn’t be focused on or expecting a blowout, just win, leave Corvallis without any serious injuries and start preparing for Tech.

We don’t really blow teams out, but we’re at least 2 TDs better than OSU. Lots of things can obviously sway the game in the wrong direction, so the guys still have to go take care of business.
The answer to the question “Can UH beat Oregon St.”, is yes, if they quit talking about Texas Tech and take care of business in Oregon on Friday.

There are a lot of jobs on the line with this game for OSU. Remember, ranked Kansas St. beat a 4-8 building Coogs team last year. I hope the Coogs play a solid game from start to finish.
I mean NC State did make it to the national championship game to pull off the upset…
And OSU is 0-4… but I get your point.

I would argue that every single win has been a blowout…
16 over CU may not be a blowout… but we definitely won handily.
Well, I’m from the Run & Shoot era, so blowouts have to be 40+ points. 
We’ve handled every opponent comfortably this year, but we haven’t boat-raced anyone, and that’s fine - just keep putting up the Ws.

To me holding teams under 10 while putting up around 30 on them is a blowout…
But I did like my time in school watching Case air it out!

UCLA in 2010.
Coogs 2-0 coming in.
Bruins 0-2 coming in.
UCLA had just lost 42-0 to Stanford or something like that.
They beat the brakes off us.
CWF will have the team prepared.
Keenum also tore his acl in that game.

And his back up (Turner?) went down also.
Yeah, I was there, it was horrific.
I think that was the game where Case was injured early in the 1st half.
This led to Case getting a medical redshirt and come back for 2011.

No. Been here since Dec ‘03. I know threads “evolve”. Just pointing out that the thread title, on the surface, is weak. We “can beat” Ohio State. We “can beat” Prarie View A&M. Even if the point of the title is facetious, it is still weak; and unnecessary. Everything the thread inspires can easily be discussed in the “game week” thread. The problem is… it mostly invites folks who feel they are somehow being profound reminding us that anyone can beat anyone on any given day, or folks who say we’re going to beat Oregon State 100-0. Both points are stale and pointless. When a point is pointless it needs to be pointed out. That’s all…
