That’s OK. Still got lead. Just drive down field and score again. That was a great play by the CB for that Int. That a play could happen to any QB even Bridgwater. Sometimes have tip your hat to the defender.

You can be sure that the ints are going to make the Keenum’s haters DEMAND for Bridgewater. Case’s mobility alone won this game. His OL has played great but you can clearly see the types of possibilities when Case keeps the play alive. It becomes a different offense.
Now:
For Zimmer to say that Bridgewater will be the QB at some point is a major mistake on his part. Apart from being a Case fan you do not change anything. Case is only human. I am starting to wonder if his adrenaline got the better of him. Psychologically that usually happens when these types of comments are made before a game. Case has faced adversity all season why add to it. Zimmer created a major unhelpful pressure when it was not needed.

At some point dont they have play Teddy major minutes under game conditions to decide if he comes back?

Zimmer has said all long “Will see” regarding the starting QB and Case has responded tremendously.
Saying that Bridgewater will be our QB at some point tipped the scale. We all have egos. We all respond differently to pressure but why add pressure especially before a game like this. Mistakes happen often when you are at the top of your game. It is not about becoming greedy but it is about being too comfortable.
Zimmer says in his presser that he has a plan. We do not know what is happening beyond the presser podium but now you have added doubts. Why create it when you do not need to?
Case has outplayed how many starters so far.
How much is Case compensated vs starters? Again, why add unnecessary pressure when your Team is 6-2 and now 7-2?
You say it is a business and someone could “steal” Bridgewater away from you? I respond with. He has not played a down in almost two years. Do you really think Teams are going to unload $10’s of M on him?
I understand he likes him but what about your winning QB? It is asinine and unwarranted.

If they dont pick it up Teddy is an unrestricted free agent.
At some point they will see what Teddy looks like.
I agree with you that they need to see what he can do and decide on their option but consider this. Do you play for today, put the best possible environment to win today or start messing with what got you to 6-2? Zimmer was right all along until he said this. It is basic psychology 101. Crossing a fine line is never a good thing. Are we good on that?

So now we know why Tom Savage was kept instead of Case Keenum on the Texans so we could all see how good they both were. Congrats QB Whisperer Bill O’Brien for showing us just how bad a judge of talent and Football expertise you are.

I would think you would be happy that Keenum isn’t playing for Bill O’Brien but you seem upset.
I am happy for Case but sad for Houston fans who probably would have got in the playoffs the last two years.

For the record, if Keenum starts against the Rams next week, he won’t put up the same numbers he did against Washington. The Rams have made a lot of good QBs look bad this year. Just be happy that Case was in the right place, at the right time, has made A LOT more money than he would have had he signed a 5 year rookie contract with the Texans and will have a lot of choices in March.
