Here’s what just happened on a Vikes offensive drive:
1st down - hand off to RB for short gain
2nd down - hand off to RB for short gain
3rd and 7 - Case drops back in shotgun and Skins blitz all out leaving Case with no options
To recap he is being Hamstrung with this conservative weak play calling that shows no faith in his passing ability.
Last drive for Case:
Only had one bad pass where he overthrew a wide open WR in the flat. Case was running while he threw the pass though.
After that, he had 2 good passes leading to the goal line, and threw a bullet on a fade pattern for a 5 yd TD pass.
Yep, Case is looking good so far. 6-9 116 yards and the TD. Vikes lead 14-10, but Washington about toscore.
