Case Keenum Thread

What makes people think that Williams is a problem? He only asked for a stake in the ownership of the Chicago Bears during his rookie contract negotiation.

If you don’t ask, you will never hear “yes” . . . . .

Have you guys heard this Bill Burr podcast talking about Case and the injustice of him going undrafted? NSFW but hilarious because it sounds like most of us on here. Credit to Andrew Pate on X.

Keenum is going to be a GOOD COACH one day.

QB coach for UH. I think his vast experience in both college and NFL systems and mentoring QBs in the NFL would make for a great coach. Get him in here to mentor Henderson if Case last year in NFL. Bell seems to be a good coach, but Case be so beneficial to a QB like Henderson with his pro experience can share.

I would love for him to come home but his resume screams NFL QB coach. From there, it will probably only take 3-5 years for him to move to OC and possibly HC.

Great read and this why Caleb is finally getting it. His play is night and day since Case was added to the Bears.

Case is probably going to follow the Kellen Moore path.

Having the NFL on your resume is hard to beat. If Case started out coaching in college, he might delay his NFL career by 5-10 years.

Has Case even publicly stated his intention after football?

I think he coaches in the NFL or goes into ministering.

Bears love what Keenum brings. Think how much better CJ was when he was being mentored by Case.

Texans/CJ need him badly today.
CJ forgot the fundamentals.
Not looking guys off. Feet wrong, etc.

The bears better keep Case. Stroud is a prime example of having a “special” player like Case for a new QB is crucial for their development.

I was thinking about that during the game. The WORST thing a defense could do was push Case out of the pocket. That’s when he slams the dagger in you!

Case was I think 6’1" and I think his vision was better on the run. Stroud does not have the instinct telling him he is about to get hammered. A little extra adrenalin is better than poise at a point.

Hire Mike McDaniel as OC and Case as QB coach. This is the move. Let’s go!!!

Maybe the answer to why C. J. Stroud has regressed each of the last 2 years is that he didn’t have Case mentoring him like he did in his rookie season. Case’s success and reputation as a QB mentor has earned him a good reputation among the NFL coaches. If he decides he wants to enter into coaching, it would be ideal for him to start as a QB coach.
