I would love for Keenum to get into coaching after he retires from the NFL.

I think he’s going to milk as much as he can with the Texans, in a good way. It’s mutually beneficial.
He’s a great asset for the team, but he is aging. He fits in the roster right now with his role and depth chart value.
I think this is his last stop, and then he enters the coaching sphere.

Keenan has some decisions to make after he retires. He has the makings of being a great coach at any level. He has the personality and football knowledge to be great football color commentator. He may choose a path that does not include football. Whatever Keenan chooses, he will be successful at it.

Honestly, I think Keenum is headed for an NFL coaching gig rather than college
With the way NIL and the transfer portal has changed college athletics, I don’t blame him if he coaches in the NFL.
Its cool to see how much CK is liked by his teammates.
He’s been in the NFL for 12 years going on 13.
Journeyman or not, that is very uncommon. In fact, it’s quite the accomplishment to be in the league that long for a backup especially his age.
Keenum is not only respected by teammates, but he’s also respected in the league overall for that very reason

Aaron Wilson shot some video of Keenum’s QB Camp and has a short interview with Keenum.
He is a great ambassador of UH. Crazy I remember thinking Rice was going to blow us out then he throws for 9 tds or whatever. My dad was like relax it’s early. I think we had a 2 td defecit early.
That was the game I knew we were coming alive. A sold-out Rob, then the rain, most would have left and not come back, but everyone sought shelter, then the stadium filled up again. Beautiful!
