On a Tuesday…
Good slate of games tonight:
Iowa at #7 Michigan State, 6p Peacock
#15 Florida at #4 Duke, 6:30p ESPN
#5 Connecticut at #21 Kansas, 8p ESPN2
#16 North Carolina at #18 Kentucky, 8:30p ESPN
I agree with that. They have my attention thus far. Good start, big opportunity to show well here.
Good friend came in from Florida to see the Duke game tonight… he paid mucho for one ticket. Think he will be disappointed after the game.
want to go to the Illinois-Minnesota game with me tomorrow? I have extra tickets
Isn’t tomorrow indiana tho? *
But yeah I’d love to, but I doubt I can make it work logistically. We’re in the middle of buying a house and also a management change at my work. (Id have to leave early short notice which probably wont fly tomorrow)
So I probably couldn’t make it on a weeknight right now. But later on or on a weekend I’m all in.
Maybe they should have transferred coaches ? @Hill
Thats insane to see literally one modestly sized section deep all the way around.
I mean i get it, i love it. Still odd to see for me.
Duke looks insanely good btw
Cameron literally looks like a high scool arena inside…
Obviously, the Dook fans and mystique make it special… but it’s a dump…
IN-IL what’s the difference?
So you cant make Jan 6th vs Iowa?
Yes I can! That’s awesome!
I actually close on the new house January 7th so ill just take off Jan 6th too.
Just PM the details and ill meet ya wherever whenever on the 6th. It’ll be fun!
(Your area is literally right on the way to the Barn for me, but obviously completely up to you)
I figured you’d have other plans on Jan 6th… ![]()

Make Corn Great Again!
Lol oh gosh, no comment!
I’ll go ahead and remain apolitical on this board in perpetuity.
But Corn shall remain the ultimate unifying force of our day!

I’m not much into politics… I don’t have kids and I don’t really care anymore…
Just saw the date and potential for a corn-y joke…
I’ve always thought contiguous non-con and conference scehdules are stupid in collegiate sports.
There is simply too much turnover in collegiate sports. It was true prior to the ridiculous portal years and even moreso now. Non-conference games, particularly in basketball, cements strength of conferenc before the conference schedule begins. At that point, only order and seeding can be altered, thus setting a pre-determined range for potential bids.
The problem is some teams have early season injuuries, late season injuries, or take longer to gel. This means the late season strength of conference metric isnt as accurate as it would be if quality games were interspersed through the season. I’d rather have a more accurate, fluid metric of strength than what we have, where its set before Xmas.
Its the same with football, albeit a slightly different problem. Instead, the bigger issue is having enough interconference P4 games to accurately gage SOC in the first place. But since CFB is rigged and heavily biased, with the SEC (talking about you TAMU) being the benefactor of extreme ranking bias.
Izzo to McCollum:

4/5 iowa starters were at Drake last year.
Crazy…
