One of the most improbable wins all year.
Tech hasnt played a lick of defense all year, then goes down 17. Multiple guys in foul trouble, multiple guys foul out, and then they start making shots. Equally as important, Tech is forced to put Groves on Boozer and the kid plays his heart out. He hedges the crap out of every high pick and roll attempt, and the rest of the team feeds off that energy.
The box will show Anderson balled out; the certainly poured in the points. But I dont know if Tech wins this game with or without foul trouble, without Groves going on Boozer. He had to play with an intensity level (given the mismatch) and it swemdd to be infectious.
What a huge win for Tech and the conference. Boost those metrics!!!
