I bet there is no good TexMex in the Ivory Coast

Makes it hard to take trips longer than about a week

Duarte explainer from last year on NIL for Lath —

his F-1 student visa doesn’t allow him to receive compensation for appearances, autograph signings, videos, commercials, social media content or any other work while on U.S. soil… One workaround has been for international athletes to do NIL-related work on trips back home…

You made me look. There are quite a number of places to find tacos in Abidjan, including establishments such as Casa Mexicana, Tacos Hut, J’Tacos and French Tacos. My favorite name has to be O’Takkos. Must be some Irish-Mexican fusion.

Upon further inspection, I’m not sure “taco” has the same meaning in Ivory Coast as it does in the rest of the world. The “salsa” choices include ketchup, mayo, and BBQ sauce. :grimacing:

Our recruiting strategy for out of state kids shouldn’t be dine them at expensive steak houses like everyone else, it should be get them hooked on TexMex like the rest of us.

Solid plan. Delete your post before Rice steals your idea!!!

Rice probably takes their recruits to play Magic The Gathering at the Coral Sword.

Not familiar with the Coral Sword. Is it anything like the Golden Corral?

He cant collect NIL in the US. I talked to the head of the University of Iowa Nil collective last year at a FB game in Iowa City. While they would have liked to have Tory Taylor(AA at punter) get nil they could not do so as he was on a F-1 visa(He is from Australia)
