When were these games scheduled? I’m wondering if it was done back when the SEC/BIG had their little “brotherhood” press conference… I think the ACC was involved. I think it was the BIg12 that was left out. I’m sure you guys remember that…probably better than I do.
I think that was before the Big10 poached UCLA/USC and the SEC poached UT/OU… Anyway, I’m wondering if this scheduling was a result of that “alliance”. But, I’m sure someone here knows for sure.

The SEC was never a part of that. The alliance thing was the PAC/ACC/B10, so no that had nothing to do with these games. Reality is Clemson, Miami, and FSU are just big time brands so it’s easy for them to schedule marquee match ups. Miami for instance has ND on its schedule 6 more times in future years. Clemson has always schedule quality comp under Dabo. And FSU plays an annual game with Florida and often still adds another marquee opponent.

My wife is the same way. Basketball too.
She barely watches the games on TV when im watching them, if at all. But she will drive 12 hrs to go to one happily lol

Is it because we are basically a FOX brand (just like the BIG) and ESPN is the “Exclusive SEC Propaganda Network”?
Also, love the hate Finebaum has been getting over the weekend for his ridiculous SEC homer takes on UT-OSU and Bama-FSU. Guy has been a chode for some time.

It’s interesting. I find myself actively watching and rooting for Big12 teams to win their matchups, like I’m one their fans. I never did that in the AAC.

That FSU team looked really good and was determined to show last year was a fluke. This team looks ready to give Clemson, Miami and SMU all they want. Should be a great race in the ACC.
