I’m not very productive today, so I am going to share my thoughts on what BYU needs to do to win.

Limit turnovers and win the turnover battle. BYU was -3 last game.

Win the offensive line — BYU has a healthy running back and a healthy back up. They had neither last game. Last game Martin had 10 carries because he was hurt. Between LJ, Moa, and Bachmeier it wouldn’t surprise me if BYU has 45-50 carries.

Special teams — just be average. Last game had miffed punts, bad holds, missed field goals, bad punts.

Defense — do your thing without the sloppy play from the offense and special teams the defense holds Tech. BYU’s defense had 5 drives where they held tech to negative yardage. Tech had three drives where they moved less than 11 yards and got points.
I need BYU to win this game
You are overthinking this. It’s really simple, all BYU has to do to win is to score more points than TT. Follow me for more tips and info.

Can only speak for myself - but I am actually looking forward to watching the UNT v. Tulane game…
same. have tried tuning into the others currently on but dont have much interest
I guess go green wave? ive got no dog in the fight really, just hope both teams have fun.
I am rooting for Tulane - one they used to be conference mates, two the Fritz connection and three - UNT is a Texas team and I actually view all Texas teams as competition to UH on some level - no need for them to get too successful - we have enough in-state recruiting battles already to deal with.
That being said - I am impressed with what UNT has done recently - will see if they can sustain losing their coach to Ok St.

Don’t even recognize CUSA (teams) any longer, compared to years 2008-2011 when my daughter played in that conference, and Case was doing his thing on the football field
I do not understand why CUSA and Sun Belt do not merge - I get it – contracts, tv commitments, money, etc. - but when you are that down the pole in G5 - frankly bigger is the only way to get better…

not sure why anyone roots for bama, the only way they have a playoff problem is by losing.
acc really screwed the big12 imo. if they had one legit team, it would be byu. nd or bama for the final; acc may get byu spot imo
i’m going for north texas; this may be their one shot to make the playoff for 25 years or more.
My reasoning is petty. That’d be Georgia’s second loss to Bama. BYU fans have heard people say “if you lose to the same twice you don’t deserve to be in.” I want to be able to throw Georgia losing twice to bama at them.
North Texas is self-destructing.
UNT is straighten up getting beat
