I am rooting for SMU but I don’t think they win, Clemson will be their toughest game this year. Clemson knows how to play with the SEC upper tier, for SMU to win; seems they would be jumping two weight classes from where they played a year ago.
Early yet but ISU can’t score like ASU, I like ASU to win by 14 or more.

I’d would have readily accepted a G5 getting a bye over a P4 five years ago and do now.
DB was holding WR arms down, wasn’t trying to play the ball at all. WR was fighting to get to the ball and DB interfered.
Same on ut-UGA for me. ut has gotten better, UGA has been more inconsistent. if UGA beat ut twice; that would be great but i don’t expect it.

Agree PI should have been called there.
I’m also surprised at how lightly attended this Big12 championship game. TV shots of the stands looks bad.

The SEC Championship Game is contracted in Atlanta until 2031, but it would not surprise me in the least if Texas tries to get the game moved to Texas, as in Dallas or Houston, at least rotating with Atlanta, after 2031. I think Houston is better, since Arlington hosts the B12 Conference Championship Game and Houston is close to Austin, College Station and Baton Rogue.
Rice and UH could benefit with rental of their facilities by the SEC participants.

Skattebo, and ISU’s inability to tackle him, is the difference in the game.
Skatteboo with 10 carries for 140 yd and 2TD in first half. Wait till he wears out the defense in the 2nd half.

According to information available, Cam Skattebo was not ranked as a high school recruit by 247 Sports, meaning he was considered a “0-star” prospect coming out of high school; he was not highly rated at the time.
