Is Utah?
ASU @ Baylor will be interesting.
In general, it feels like a game Baylor usually loses. A team they are even with or even better than but fail to make a statement. Think BYU and Colorado last year.
This ASU team reminds me of the BYU team in 2022 that went 8-5.
Jaren hall = Leavitt
Puka Nacua = Jordon Tyson
Allgeier leaving in 2021 = Scattebo leaving 2024
In 2021 BYU was 5-0 against the pac 12 including beating their champion in Utah. 2024 ASU won the big 12
They are fine, but not great.
I think Baylor wins this one and ASU has an average year.
SMU @TCU is another big one. TCU lost by 24 last year. Hoover vs Jennings will be fun.
I think TCU gets revenge.
I’d bet on TCU
I’d hate to be the guy setting the line for Tech v Utah.
still early to know how ASU will pan out, but it’s absolutely astonishing how they just completely lost all momentum/hype going into this season.
No
Depends if they can afford the buyout. Boone is at room temp
Yes, as long as the QB stays healthy
Yes
I like Baylor. ASU pass defense is porous
SMU @ TCU should be a fun one. I expect TCU to win. Auburn @ Boomer, Jackson Arnold returns to Norman. Tulane @ Ole Miss, good test for Tulane. Michigan @ Corn, I’m taking Corn. Illinois @ Indiana, big game for your Fighting Illini @uhlaw97.
SH @ ut, on paper, should be a warm up game for Arch, but boy, that offense has not looked good. I will definitely have my eye on that one. Aggy is on a bye.
I guess we’ll find out which team out of Indiana and Illinois is a B1G contender/pretender this week.
Rice just 3rd and Belked
Rice is leading Charlotte in Charlotte at halftime 14-9. But that isn’t the big story. The big story is that Rice has fans in Charlotte.
If Charlotte was halfway good they would have the lead.
T
I hate dead (off) weeks. That is all I have to say about this weeks games.
Hell of a throw by Rice QB.
Off weeks are tough, but I think SMU-TCU, TT-Utah and ASU-Baylor will all be interesting games involving Big 12 teams. Wins by Texas Tech and Baylor would be pretty nice victories for those teams.
