Im sorry but doesnt it irk everyone else they pick seats for you.

I don’t have a problem with it because they give you a several day window to request tickets and allocate based upon points and priority instead of having the re-sellers that are running bots buy all the good seats in the first 10 seconds.

Also helps that there is not a bad seat in the house. No matter where you sit you’ll be on top of the action.

I’m a season ticket holder and I didn’t get the email. Classic UH.

You guys arent thinking about this logically.

The average UH season ticket holder has atleast 2 seats. For every 2 seats thay they have in the premium sections theyre allowed 4.

In Those same season ticket holders. There are resellers that UH couldnt get rid of because they just didnt know.

Additionally, not every seat i believe is as good so paying for them to pick for me and being obstructed or high up isnt in my best interest. Just my personal opinion on that. That being said. All the people behind the baskets will have no chance at this game. Less than 2k people will.

The first email had a bad link in it…they sent a follow up email apologizing for the error. I guess I should be grateful for getting an email.

I hate the way they are selling the tickets. I only have 2 seats, why should I be able to buy 4? Im guessing I won’t get tickets.

Hopefully things will get better now that we have a new AD.

Last season at the KU game, my wife and I got selected for the Seat Upgrade. It was really exciting until someone came to the seats with the tickets for those seats. So then we got kicked out of our Gallery Furniture Seat upgrade by the ushers before the game even started and they showed the two other people on the screen. None of the UH people knew anything or could do anything but move us to the upper concourse. lol

All this to say that UH athletics (at least as far as ticketing goes, etc.) is a complete clown show.

I’ve seen this happen before in section 119. I have been in 120 on the aisle since Fertitta opened, and right across from me in 119 is where they usually sit the football recruits and coaching staff. Several times last year, people who had clearly purchased those tickets sat down in 119, only to be moved by stadium and AD staff because those tickets were earmarked for recruits and family.

The ticket office and athletic department coordination under Pez was REALLY lacking

Any idea if this exhibition will be televised? I’ll be out of town for that one.

I called the ticket office and they were super helpful. They said they’d look into why I didn’t get any email and allowed me to order by phone. So I’m happy about that and I think maybe things are going in a positive direction.

We still haven’t got an email

How much weight do you give a Charity Exhibition? Kansas lost their Charity Exhibition to Duke last year, did not seem to effect their season. Would like to see a win, but more importantly, stay healthy and play hard, good fundamentals from the new guys.

I give it zero weight. Sampson will likely play everyone in that game regardless of outcome, as he should. No injuries would be the best form of victory.
