The thing with Palillo is there always has to be a snarky insult burried in every topic. When did he become the arbiter of entertainment value in Houston. Hell he was fired in this town…and he’s in the entertainment industry.
And he’s the least Houstonian of anyone on Houston Sports Radio.

Charlie’s sports knowledge is really good. One of my favorites objectively. However, let’s not mask his history. He has no loyalty to UH sports and has dogged UH sports and its athletes many times. Must be $$$ behind his association with UH or wants to be part of some of the hype because UH is good.

The latter. Like I said, I only heard him about 3 times but he left me thinking that he was self-entitled to associate himself with winners…and on a high enough pedestal to scoff at the exception to them.
Maybe his issue is that he never played anything.
He has to be the most negative pessimistic talk show host I have ever listened too. I just have never liked his style of radio.
