What are the current AAC rules regarding Covid? Couldn’t we have waited till the last minute before canceling? Why be friendly if we are being so stiffly punished? Maybe they cancel first if we wait

Vaccines have worked and this variant is much less severe. Too many hospitals are being crowded with people who have tested positive without symptoms and don’t need to be there.
And this is a big problem and misrepresenting what is really happening because vaccinated people will initially test positive until until the vaccines take effect.
On top of that the medications we are using are really helping.
Originally the healthy person to to experience anytlife threatening was rare and now it is close to nonexistent.

My starting 5 for Sunday night vs Temple.
- Kyler Edwards-- he will play
- Jamal Shead – 32-36 mins/game will be needed.
- Taze Moore-- needs more rebounds n create when possible on offense side.
- Fabian White-- will turn into primary go to imo w/ Sasser gone.
- Josh Carlton-- keep on projection he’s been on last 2-3 gms.

Yeah, I wasn’t trying to make this about COVID. I was just pointing out the players and staff followed all the rules with vaccinations and boosters but were being forced to forfeit a game. That rule should’ve had an addendum written in if teams were following all guidelines before we got to this point. I’m happy they changed the ruling.
As for COVID itself? People can argue until they’re blue in the face about the virus. I’ve been on message boards since 2004 and there is one immutable fact about discussing social injustices, politics, and religion. You are not going to persuade someone to see your side of the argument no matter how hard you try. Save your keystrokes for your blog or journal.

This is interesting. It seems like if Marcus can take part in practice in some capacity, then he might be able to give some minutes in a game, if needed. Otherwise, he would go ahead and get the surgery now.

The real decision his family is considering is about going pro. Did he show enough this season to scouts to get an NBA look

Totally agree, which is why Sampson’s statement that he would take part in practice where possible caught my attention.
His draft stock will go down if he’s injured and hasn’t yet had surgery, because teams are obviously going to want to see how the recovery goes. If he’s looking at the next draft, he should probably get the surgery ASAP. Maybe that’s the plan, and he’s just waiting on an available day to get it done.
