I love what the Big E has done for Houston athletics, but he is way out of his element on basketball broadcasts. We finally have a good play by play guy in Jeremy Branham. Hayes adds nothing of substance and is really hard to listen to.
Timing is interesting.
Agree to a point. His work during the game is mostly left to just laughing and making loud 1-2 word exclamations (Agree that Branham is very good on Play-by-play and it’s helped the broadcasts a lot this year). Elvin’s best work is after the game when he has time to dissect what is going on and provide analysis. He’d be great in a studio show environment…if we had one

Its good to have Elvin around the program. I don’t care how bad is he is on the radio broadcasts.
