He also put the time in to work up the ranks the right way.

That guy actually got fired at 0-5. The interim went 1-6 in the last 7, same as Prime. How many wins do you think they need next season for it to be considered a successful season?
No wins vs teams w a winning record but at the minimum he packed that stadium.
Paid for he and his staff + & got the juices flowing again for a long time sad sack CO.
QB son has a broken bone in his back. No idea the severity but Prime has 2 bring in a new OL or its more of the same. I thought he hung in there well vs the beating he took.
Prime just had his standard, allotted “freebie” sucky first season; the same one that nearly all new coaches get.
But if there isn’t some noticeable improvement next season…then the honeymoon will quickly be over.
Coach Prime was pretty blunt and critical of his team in pressers when his team lost. I wondered how that was going to play in the locker room. Apparently not to well with some recruits.
Who cares how they felt to be honest. He needs an entirely new offensive line and defensive line 2-deep. And a few more skill players sprinkled in and they’d be a 8-9 win team. Why pat them on the butt when they really need to go to make room for the players you need. Get better or move on. I don’t love it but NIL and the transfer portal created this system.
Many have come many have gone. It is never easy to be a successful coach. We shall see where Prime ends up but I do know his level of arrogance as a coach will not fly.
i don’t like the hype either but can’t call him a bust yet.
he has had success as he leveled up, gotta give him 2 more years minimum before the bust label can be applied.
