I was saying that my favorite combo is the one with Howard Wilson in the photo at NRG against Oklahoma. Those Kevin Kolb uniforms were terrible, in my opinion.
Lots of memories there. That season was when I truly became a UH football fan. Time sure has flown by.

ā¦We beat Texas Tech when they were undefeated and number 2 in the country in November of 1976, and beat undefeated 4th ranked Maryland in the 77ā Cotton Bowl. We beat a top 5 Nebraska team in the 1980 Cotton Bowlā¦We tied an Aggie team in 56 that went 9-0-1, won the SWC and finished no. 5 in the country in both polls.

Maryland finished #8 in 1976 and Nebraska #7 in 1980.
You can literally count the number of UH teams that have victories over teams that finished in the final Top Five on TWO FINGERS (1956 and 2016).
I REST MY CASE!!!
Actually, I need to correct myself.
The 1956 team TIED a team that finished in the Top Five.
That means, if your data is correct (I havenāt double checked it) that the 2016 team would be literally the ONLY UH team that I know of that BEAT a team that finished in the Final Top Five during the season.
You can count the number of UH teams that have done that on literally ONE finger.

Colorado bans reporter for being critical of Deion Sanders? I am beginning to feel like we are seeing a slow drip, drip, drip unraveling of the Colorado program. The video in the story has Paul Finebaum calling the B12 a ā3rd rate leagueā on Mike Greenbergās Get Up show.

In my opinion, I have Paul Finebaum as a third rate human being. He also has a face for radio.
