@kfd91, looking at your tracker it does look like the below post is correct:

Yup we have known for a while. The only “evaluation” is who has offered you and where you commit.

I trust my own eyes when I watch highlight videos.

Bimage was a 3 star LB for 6 months while committed to us…the moment he flips to Texas, he magically becomes a 4 star…Star system is a sham

Yup system :put_litter_in_its_place:

Let me elaborate. The system is flawed in the area of 3-4 stars. 5 are obviously 5 (90%). 3-4 is the grey area in the system.

This proves that the star system is a sham! And, this helps to show why Coach February (with all his top 5 rated classes) didn’t win many not-so-big 12 championships while he was in Austin.

Also reminds us that the primary reason that Houston doesn’t fall into the Gulf of Mexico is that Austin sucks.

Come on man. The joke is why doesn’t Texas fall into the Gulf of Mexico? Because Oklahoma sucks.

If that was true why wasn’t Ed Oliver downgraded to a 4 star. I do think they do favor the bigger schools, doe.

I imagine its because he had every P5 school after him.

I’ll have to update that next week to see where everyone is at.

The real kick in the pants is when a player rating goes up when he commits to the same coach at a different school.

Just updated the rankings. Not only did Daniel Young get a gigantic bump by 247, so did Bimage. Tom is working the phones.

Wow! D.Young from 80’s to 38…good for the kid, but the system is :put_litter_in_its_place:

Downgrading Oliver would have been too obvious.

There are still countless other examples. Whenever Lark and King de-committed from TCU and committed here, they plummeted. Whenever Cleveland de-committed from here and committed to Florida, he skyrocketed.

Amik just commited to LA Tech

So he will soon be downgraded from a #38 rating to around #80 and from a 3 to 2 star.

247 dropped Jones to just under a 4* last night after he committed.

247 has us 66th overall, 2nd in AAC behind Memphis (56) and 4th among G5: Memphis, Boise St, Colorado St. We have less commits than all 3 and have a good shot of passing them.
