Nothing. Did you see our offense? Did you see our QBs? It was trash. Staying on our team as an offensive player hoping to get drafted would have screwed him over.
I’m torn because I completely understand why he left and glad he balled out to become a FRP, but damn do I hate that he balled out for the horns and had them next to his name when he got picked instead of anyone else, especially us.

If he stayed here, he is late round pick, or undrafted. He made the right decision.

With Zeon and Smith at QB, he wouldn’t have been picked in the 1st round because he would have been underthrown, overthrown, or thrown behind. He realized that and moved on. He ended up with good QBs and good coaching he wasn’t getting with Holgy’s staff.

Espn said his 4.2 40 really helped him so that was after UT - he would’ve risen up the boards regardless - him at receiver may have changed life for the QBs as wasn’t it the same guys throwing to him the year before?

Yes he probably went from a 2nd rounder to a 1st, whereas staying here he would probably go from a 6th to a 5th or 4th.

I hate that he left, but like mentioned above we had no one playing QB that could get him the ball on a regular basis. He made a business decision that worked out in his favor.
