Too bad for such an historical moment the Senate couldn’t have voted 100-0, especially when the
Republicans knew they didn’t have the votes to stop it. Could have been a PR boon for Republicans. But they don’t know how to govern either.
Ahh they had to score points with their base. Sadly everyone seems to want to see their chosen party defy the other, no matter what.
It would go totally against their message. And remember thats where Republicans have Dems beat.
