He’s poised pretty good. Pretty dang good arm.

Pretty efficient numbers so far with 0 turnovers. Hopefully he is encouraged to open up the offense downfield a bit more. So much depends on the play of the o line though.

3 of those passes should’ve been interceptions, but the defenders dropped them

Walked away lucky with those

Should have been intercepted means they were not intercepted. Every game and QB has passes that should have or could have been picked, but weren’t. Unless a pass is actually picked it goes in the books as either a completion or incompletion. There are no “shoulda, or coulda” stats.

Some people like to look for the cloud in every silver lining.

Shouldn’t need huge games. Just don’t want any stinkers…

Do you know how many passes Case threw that should’ve been picked? A lot

Hey I’m not arguing I’m just stating a few close calls

This. Get us close to 34 pts a game with no turnovers. Defense should take care of the rest.

We are averaging 31 per game, allowing 4.5.

After Rice lead by 3, the remainder of the game it was 35-6 Cougars.

We are looking good!

The TD run and the TD pass to Boogie were big time plays.

I’m not calling him Wiggy until i hear our staff or players do it

I don’t call you “Dewey” either. Just when I’m mumbling, talking to myself.

Also, why did Burnett not play in the Rice game ?

Houston running back J’Marion Burnette missed Saturday’s game against Rice after he slammed the door to his vehicle on his hand, according to a source. His status moving forward isn’t immediately known.

Wow, thanks for the info and let’s hope he can play against Colorado. I think it helps the running game and him catching that swing pass out of the backfield and scoring in the first game gives us another option.

We won and when rice defense got worn down in the 2nd half we moved the football
Also made second half adjustments and showed some different formations

But jury is still out on whether the offense is actually better than last year

CW has an arm but he seems a bit indecisive when pressed

Hopefully coaches can tune things for him on Friday

This offense is better than last year.but that’s not saying anything

WR group has to create more separation going forward. Passing game is anemic

I mean as long as we only give up 4.5 per game we should go undefeated right?

I’m still predicting an 8-4 record at worst.

All they have to do is go 6-4 the rest of the way.

I think beating Colorado to go 3-0 is big for the progression of the program.

Especially in a rebuilding year for Colorado & being a home game is a very winnable game.

I still didn’t get how some people in here had us going 6-6 with the easy early part in our schedule.
