I saw the Kris Gardner interview and I thought it was insightful. Kris asked Eddie what is the one thing he wants to accomplish before the end of the year. Eddie responded “change the culture to meet the vision… have a culture that everyone can be proud of.” Then I thought back to the football culture that Applewhite and Holgorsen created as coach. Eddie’s goal was music to my ears.
As an aside, Nunez is very impressive. I feel comfortable with Nunez sitting across the table from a corporate CEO pitching a 7 or 8 figure donation.

I can certainly see why he impressed Dr. K and Tillman enough to win the job. I love his energy and enthusiasm as well as his ideas with an eye for a cohesive department presenting the culture as one. I think he will serve us well; time will tell.

He mentioned merch licensing as a priority. Already has surpassed my expectations.
My pockets are burning wanting to buy better Nike/ Jordan polos. We need to have the same selection of Nike gear as some of the larger schools.

He specifically mentioned fans complaining about not being able to get gear like what the coaches wear on the field and he was going to see what he can do about that. I felt heard!
