Coogs in the combine

Tanner Koziel and Latrell McCutchin Sr. were the only two Coogs invited to the NFL combine.

Those two definitely deserve it

I’m surprised that Carlos Allen didn’t get an invite.

UH will host a Pro Day for players, on the UH campus, usually in March, before the NFL draft. I have not heard when the 2026 UH Pro Day is supposed to occur.

The last couple years the Big12 has had a conference wide pro day at the Dallas Cowboy’s facility, but I have not seen anything about it yet.

I still think Carlos Allen will get drafted.
Connors probably won’t get drafted but he got some good reviews at one of the senior bowls that I think he’ll get a shot as an undrafted free agent.

Didn’t he leave after his junior season? I don’t think the combine invited juniors then.

I didn’t mean to insinuate he was at the combine….just that coming out of college there were several scouts that did not think he had the ideal size.

Ken Journey said McCutchin was a liability in the secondary

He also swore that Luke Carney was by far the best QB that ever stepped foot on the UH campus. :joy:

Exactly. It takes one team to “bite” and the rest is history.

Good, great nfl teams constantly evolve. The bad ones keep making the same bad recruiting decisions.

Carlos and Connors will be day 3 drafts

Yeah… I think RBs get shortest end of all sticks in the NFL.

Unless you’re a Saquon type talent I feel like most GMs treat thst position as plug & play…
