Do we have a thread to discuss Coogs in the NFL? Was curious if anyone caught Clayton Tune playing today? Anything good?
I watched the game (only while Tune played).
He had some good throws, and then it seemed he held on to the ball too long in some other plays…definitely had to be running for his life most of the snaps he took, so the O-Line didn’t seem to help much, either.
Hope we get to see him start the season, but I’m sure the Cardinals’ coaching staff would love to have Kyler back soon.
General observation here. The story of the year for young QBs seems to be who is getting the ball out quickly. Linemen are so fast these days…
Sounds like much of his UH career.
Yes!
Thats exactly what I was thinking during the game; how much it reminded me of Tune’s year 1 & 2.
Elandon Roberts got a ton of applause from the SNF announcers after an uber acrobatic goal line diving FF tackle. Dallas eventually got in on 4th down but that dive would’ve been huge if Pitt pulled it out
That Roberts play was pretty amazing.
Kyle Allen with a pass attempt and completion too.
Tyus Bower 2 Miami.
Josh Jones 2 Seattle.
Grant Stuard 2 Detroit.
Elandon Roberts 2 Raiders.
Peyton Turner 2 Cowboys.
Cards sign QB Jacoby Brissett at 2 years @ $12 million.
Clayton Tune headed elsewhere?
Hall Of Fame Game on now.
Grant averaging 31 on 2 returns w a fumble.
Kyle Allen the QB for Detroit.
There’s the Kyle Allen I know… INT
1 quarter of football and our NFL Coogs have a lost fumble and INT. Wonderful.
Grant returning kickoffs…
Make that 2 picks…
Stuard with an awesome sack
FA out of UH with the tackle for Lions
Bringing this back around with the new preseason week.
Josh Jones looked really good Thursday night on Seattles O Line and is projected to start in the regular season.
Kyle Allen had a nice TD toss in the Lions first half tonight.
Marcus Jones had a nice pass breakup where he initially got beat then punched the ball out just in time. He’s on punt return duty too.
E-Rob played a lot with the Raiders on Thursday. Seems to have lost a step and was thinking instead of reacting a lot, he’s 31 now.
Case will play with the Bears a lot on Sunday afternoon.
Just my observations, nothing official.
