Why did he choose the CFL over the UFL?
The UFL did not draft him. He had 3 teams interested, San Antonio, Memphis and Birmingham but none of them called him to sign. He mentioned due to the merger that they overdrafted too many players and each team has 70-80 players and no practice squad. Only defensive film he has is Jags practice squad and he can’t legally put that out. He just wants to play ball., and hopefully find his way back to the NFL.

I have been hoping for him to find a spot where he can impress the NFL GMs. I am so happy he has found that spot, I think he will eventually make it to the NFL.

I was wondering about Bowser since he’s on the Ravens, but didn’t see any mention of him on the Coogs in the playoffs posts. Apparently he’s been nursing some type of knee injury.
Deontay Anderson, Seth Green, Na’ty Rogers and Emeke Egbule are all on UFL teams, so that’s good UH representation.

Lol I was about to write that he was hurt. I dont think hes eligible to suit up for the Super Bowl if the Ravens make it there but im assuming he will try to play if he can.
Thats good news. Plus the CFL minimum is $70k so he’ll be getting a better salary than a lot of entry-level office jobs. There have been guys who have made millions of dollars playing in the CFL, so he can definitely make a very nice living there.
I think he will be back in the NFL soon enough though.
