Down 12-8 in the B6.
Something was telling me that Pollard was being series this time.
For some reason, it really bugs me that Tech is wearing red and we’re wearing black.
Same. I am digging the pitchers stirrups. That’s how I wore mine.
I still wear mine that way when I mow the yard
Our batters must be looking at the pitcher’s gear - they’re stacking up the bad ABs.
Still 12-8, T8.
Tuned in now.
Nice play by Tech third baseman. That was a sophomore HS level stupidity.
You must be old school. Mowing your own lawn and looking like Brooks Robinson all at the same time.
Yeah. And I clipped half the bill off my ---- ball cap to get more sun on my nose
Wow that ball was crushed by Tech. That might’ve hit a vehicle on the Spur.
That was not a well-executed pitch.
They are off to a great start in the top of the first…
Desperation move, starting your closer usually does not turn out well.
On a positive, McGinnis can absolutely rake….too bad he’ll only be here one year.
We getting beat again??
Down 7-1 in the top of the 8th. (went to 10-1 while I was typing)
This inning has featured a leadoff walk followed by a pitching change. The new pitcher promptly threw the ball away trying to pick the guy at 1B, moving him to third. The next batter singled to drive in that run. After getting one out, that pitcher just gave up a 2-run bomb. It’s now 10-1.
And we have 3 errors in the game.
Edit: 11-1 final.
It’s possible that we may not be very good.
Ouch.
After Schmitz who is looking very draftable.
Try Jean & Hoffman the weekend starters going forward ?
Saving them as long guys a waste so far.
Limited fielding range all over.
Other team steals at will.
Bunch of regulars can not hit & that is after
Grambling X 3, UT-A x 3, etc
Some relief ahead.
After this weekend.
Sam is 4-15.
1 of 2 v Abilene- Christian.
Rice is 3-13.
1 of 2 Houston Baptist.
Guessing that scout was on the phone about him.
Also
Hoff long way from draft but scout was looking closely.
He was @ .200 before all the Tomato Cans.
They tried to get him rolling. The only regular in the game when hit the Grand Slam v Grambling.
Hoffman is off to a great start. Doesnt have blow you away type stuff but is a true pitcher. Make him the Saturday or Sunday starter. He should have started today.
Y’all wake me up when the season is over and coach is fired thx!
Pretty disappointing for baseball. I like Whitting but I hope the next coach makes an emphasis on winning the Big 12.
