How does golf scheduling work? Do we get invited to these tournaments or do we enter the ones we want?
It’s a mix, to be honest. We invite teams to ours, they invite us to theirs.
We also layer in events like La Tech that is designed for us to finish in the top 3 and build our record to > .500 to be invited to NCAA Regionals.
We’ve got a pretty good schedule IMO. Playing against a lot of great teams!

3Amigos, you are close to the golf program. I was a student back in the 70s and was around for a couple National Championships. Really exciting to see our performance at Louisiana Tech. We have in past years attended this tournament and if memory serves me we played well but have not won until yesterday. Excited to see how we do as we compete in the future with much tougher fields. I recall you preaching patience.

We’ve got some really good players in Weibel and Chi Chun.
But when all play well, you can see what this team is capable of. It’s a long season and we have a long way til May.
