“Fabian is one of the best high school players in the state of Texas and was a must-get for us when we got here. We tagged Fabian early. He is very athletic but tough,” Sampson said. “He may be more of an inside player right now, but we believe we can develop him out to the 3-point line because he has a great shooting stroke. He can score. You throw him the ball around 10-15 feet from the basket, and he is going to find a way to put it in.
