Could the Ayatollah flee to Russia?

There are rumblings out there to that effect circulating.

I first saw it on social media, and then googled it. More than one news source is reporting that something to this effect is in the works if the protests overrunning the country keep up.

As Martha Stewart would say, “that’s a good thing.”

I dunno man!

I’d much rather see him stand trial for terrorism and crimes against humanity.

I don’t want that guy to have a safe haven.

What does Iran has? Who is buying it?
Let’s hope the popular uprising succeeds. It does? He goes to russia or shyyyyyyynahh.

…but Martha was indicted too…

I hope that the uprising does indeed succeed.

But NOT that the Ayatollah escape.

He needs to face justice…NOT escape it in Russia.

I agree with you, but Russia is 2nd best and probably more likely.

Where does the Iranian military stand on regime change?

We’ll see.

The whole world is waiting to see if Iran’s security apparatus joins the revolutionaries…or turns on them.

Are you referring to any protesters as revolutionists?

That seems to be their objective.

They are all chanting “Javid Shah” (“Long Live the Shah”).

They want an overthrow of the Islamists and a replacement of them with a Pahlavi.

Success in that regard would constitute a new revolution.

They turned on the Shah decades ago. We did an amazing job bombing their nuclear “secret” facilities, surely we got some “home” intel. This dictatorship has been going on for over 40 years.

The ayatollah is happy that his religion outlaws dancing. Based on NYT and WaPo, had he been dancing, Delta Force would be paying him a visit

The world knows now that their so called army is made of colorful billboards with choose insults. Will it reach a boiling point? It does you can be sure their army will take the “people’s” turn. For their grey bearded dictator to be thought into doing this…

He could be roomies with Asad.

A lot of oil … Russia and China

Who’s gonna hold that trial? The Hague?! Lol
The Hague is just an extension of the creepy U.N. And if you’ve been sleeping the U.N. just approved Somalia to head the Security Council.

Lolololololol

Maybe an international organization , OR the USA.

Just as we are doing with Maduro.

Except the terrorism charges will likely be a lot worse.

Since Maduro capture . Putin is toast and he will flee next.
